Evgenia El Khuri (24.10.2002) is a multidisciplinary artist, photographer and designer-illustrator. Born in Kyiv, she grew up and currently lives in Moscow. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Illustration Design Program from the Institute of Business and Design. Nowdays Evgenia’s studying at the Rodchenko Moscow School of Photography and Multimedia.
ARTIST’S STATEMENT
Evgenia explores the influence of pop culture on society, questioning its role in the realities of the modern world in her artistic practice. She’s interested in the dynamics of public sentiment, current trends, and their reflection in the mass consciousness. Evgenia works with various media, including speculative design, photography, painting, and media art.

This mockumentary project ironically highlights people's tendency towards self-programming and belief in predictions.
The artist plays the role of the founder of "Selection Line", an aesthetic medicine company that offers the opportunity to "change fate" through surgical alteration of the life lines on one's hands.
THE PROJECT INCLUDES:

The performance was held at the Rodchenko Moscow School of Photography and Multimedia and lasted 6 minutes.
PITCH PRESENTATION
"Ode to Love" is a self-portrait, as well as an homage to the well-known clown meme, referencing
the aesthetics of the post-internet era. Employing the pixel art method, the artist anonymizes
her face, allowing for greater freedom of interpretation and identification of the viewer with
the role of the artist.
In "Ode to Love", the contemporary artist is compared to a clown, as both, in a sense, entertain others.
Anyone can "contribute" and fill in the blank spaces; express themselves and complain, release emotions, describe what once made them feel "shamed."
